Welcome to Ocala Psychology’s Virtual Therapy. If you have an appointment please click on “Enter Waiting Room” next to your therapist’s name below to enter the HIPAA-compliant video platform. Telehealth Guidelines:

In order to provide you with a successful telehealth session, please follow these guidelines to maintain a setting that is as similar to being in the office as possible:

  • You must be physically located in the state of Florida during the telehealth session.
  • I ask that you be in a setting that is as private as possible where your session cannot be overheard by anyone to ensure your privacy.
  • Please have proper lighting so you and your provider can see each other.
  • You must be dressed appropriately for session.
  • You must not drive during your session.
  • Minimize distractions around you including TV, music and other sounds.
  • If the connection becomes disrupted, I will contact you to finish the session by phone.

Technical Difficulties:

In the event of technical difficulties (i.e. unable to connect to platform, loss of internet disconnection from session) please try refreshing the browser by hitting the “Refresh” button. If this does not work, try restarting the browser you are using or try using a different device (e.g., iPad, laptop computer, cell phone). This solves many common issues. You can also call the office at 352-425-4280 if you require assistance with troubleshooting any issues.
